Here are two quick things from Ideo’s design thinking class class today that can help you have a great brainstorming session, even when your whole team is working remotely!

1.  Virtual Brainstorming: it’s tough to get together in a room nowadays and stick Post-It notes all over the walls.  Here are some tools that were recommended by my classmates for doing it virtually:

• Post-It App
• Mural
• Miro
• Microsoft Whiteboard

2. Crafting insights: after you cluster those Post-It notes you need to draw out the major themes in a meaningful ways.  Here are two things from an Ideo coach that can help:

So, pick an app, gather the team, and let the facts, observations, and insights flow!
